Consistent: sustainability through continuity and innovation

Sustainability is an elementary component of Edelmann's mission statement. The issue has shaped the family-owned company's corporate thinking and actions since it was founded in 1913. This is reflected in the consistency of Edelmann's economic, ecological and social measures.

The packaging manufacturer's benchmark is the satisfaction of its customers, with whom Edelmann shares the responsible handling of resources. The company supports customers with packaging developments made from ecological board material and with production technologies that reduce waste and energy-intensive work processes. The investment and employee policies also follow these guidelines. The result is innovative solutions in line with the premium standard "High Q Packaging" by Edelmann – a stable, independent and reliable partner.

Since 2010 Edelmann has documented its commitment to sustainability pursuant to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.
