GMP: Good Manufacturing Practice

A good manufacturing practice is an integral part of the management system at Edelmann. Even though a good manufacturing practice is a basic production requirement for the pharmaceutical industry, it is not imposed on the company. Rather, Edelmann values the GMP as a self-commitment, using the guidelines to derive, compose and implement department specific stipulations that evolve continuously.
 

Edelmann also closely follows and obeys to German and European laws and regulations for packaging in the food industry. As folding cartons are considered components of the individual food items, this industry is subject to specific GMPs. They are enforced company-wide and subject to the same due diligence and inspection duties. Edelmann satisfies these controls through a risk-assessment of all relevant departments of the supply chain.
